From San Jose (40 minutes):
There are 3 ways to get to Turu Ba Ri Park from San Jose:
- Using the old road that goes via Ciudad Colon, Puriscal and then Turrubares where the Park is located.
- The Secong way from San Jose is using the road to the airport. You pass the Airport, then take the road to La Garita, Atenas, San Mateo, and once you arrive to Orotina you drive strait to Turrubares, look for the signs to Turu Ba Ri.
- A the best and final way is by the NEW HIGHWAY: Take the new highway called Ciudad Colon – Caldera and get off once you arrive to at Orotina. You will see this sing:
You get off on this exit and then make a left where it says TIGRE, like this picture shows:

| Then you make a left to “TIGRE” this is the road also to Turrubares, where Turu Ba Ri is locted |
| Once you have made a left to “Tigre” you will pass a tunnel down the highway. Keep going straight since this is the road that takes to Turrubares and also to Turu Ba Ri Park |
| From this point you are about 10 minutes to the park, just keep on the road. Is all paved, no 4×4 is needed. |
