This awesome zip line measures 4,000 feet long, and has a maximum height of 315 feet.  The Sensational Cable is not only the longest Zip line tour in Costa Rica but also the fastest since you can reach a top speed of 55 miles per hour. RECOMMENDATIONS

We suggest that visitors arrive early in the morning. They should bring comfortable footwear for the hikes, light clothing, hat, sun block and insect repellent. If guests elect to take the horseback riding tour they should use long pants, socks and closed-toed shoes. Guests are advised to drink water during the hikes.

CLIMATE

Turu Ba Ri is located in the driest part of the transition forest (dry to tropical humid). The climate is hot and humid. The average annual temperature is 30 Celsius/86 Fahrenheit, and during the months of May to October it rains a little, mainly in the afternoon.

SCHEDULE

The Park is open year round including holidays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The first Superman tour is at 10:00 a.m. and we keep runnin tours every hour until 4:00 p.m. (if weather permitting) the last tour ends at 5:00 p.m. . Previous authorization is required for groups to either enter the park earlier or leave it later.

Do you need Transportation?

Since we are tour operators, we can offer your zip line tour with transportation. We run tour packages including transportation and lunch from across the country such as San Jose and surrounding areas, Central Pacific (Jaco and Puntarenas) and for cruise passengers, we offers shore excursions packages from Caldera and Puntarenas docks.

FAQ on SUPEMAN ZIP LINE Tour:

1- How long does the tour take? The Sensational Cable last about 60 seconds but a group up to 20 people could last about 1 hour to finish.

2- What is the age limit for the tour? Actually we have a weight limit rather than a age limit for the Sensational Zip line. Participants fro this adventure must weight more than 90 pounds in order to be able to enjoy the Cable.

3- What happens if it rains? We can run the Superman normally even with rain because we have a special braking system, therefore is up to the client if they want to get wet; this applies for when there is no lightning or raining very strong.

4- Do we see wild life on the tour? Yes the tour is actually very good for bird watching but we cannot guarantee that you will see them, the best time is early in the morning, and the most common things to see are Scarlet Macaws, Toucans and White Faced Monkeys.

5- What does the tour include? The special equipment, Bilingual Guides, the longest Zip line in the country and the exit by the Aerial Tram.

6- Do you take pictures? Yes, there is a company that has professional cameras and photographers and you can buy it once you finish the Tour. No video available yet.  The Zip line tour pictures are place on our website the next day of visit
