El tour de Cabalgata en el Parque de Naturaleza y Aventura Turubari tiene un recorrido de 2,5 kilómetros aproximadamente, con una duración aproximada de 45 minutos a una hora contacto el tiempo de la charla explicativa y la monta de los caballos. Este tour de Aventura es una alternativa para aquellos que desean unir la naturaleza y aventura. Durante la cabalgata el guía dará una explicación general de la flora y fauna que se puede observar. Es importante recalcar que inclusive niños pueden participar de esta cabalgata ya que los caballos están entrenados para ofrecer la seguridad y tranquilidad que el cliente se merece. También es importante recalcar que en este tour no se permite galopar con los caballos ya que deseamos brindar la máxima seguridad posible para nuestros clientes.

HORARIO DEL TOUR DE CABALGATA
El parque opera todos los días del año inclusive feriados de 8:30 a.m. a 5:00 p.m. El primer tour de Cabalgata opera a partir de las 9:00 a.m. y sigue operando aproximadamente cada hora hasta las 3:00 p.m. si el clima lo permite. Para grupos que deseen salir más temprano o más tarde, es necesaria una autorización previa.

RECOMENDACIONES:
Para visitar el parque, le sugerimos llegar temprano en  la mañana, llevar calzado cómodo para caminar, ropa liviana, sombrero, bloqueador solar y repelente para insectos. Si escoge hacer una cabalgata utilice pantalones largos, medias y zapatos cerrados. Se recomiendan durante las caminatas el consumo de agua.

CLIMA:
Turu Ba Ri is located in the driest part of the transition forest (dry to tropical humid). The climate is hot and humid. The average annual temperature is 30 Celsius/86 Fahrenheit, and during the months of May to October it rains a little, mainly in the afternoon.

1- How long does the tour take? The Horseback Riding Tour last from 45 to 60 minutes, it depends on how many people are horseback riding with your group..

2- What is the age limit for the tour? We take kids from 5 years on but keep in mind that kids from ages 5 till 10 will probably have to ride to one of its parents if they don’t have enough experience on horses.

3-How far are you from Caldera Port? The Park is about 35 minutes from Caldera port and only 45 minutes from Puntarenas Port.

4-Do you offer Shore Excursion for Cruise passenger coming on ship cruises arriving to Caldera or Puntarenas? Yes we offer many shore excursion options, for more information search at our Shore Excursions menu

5-How far is the horseback ride tour from Doubletree Puntarenas? The park is just 40 minutes away from Doubletree, on the highway that go back to San Jose, you just have to make a right to Turrubares once you arrive to Orotina.

6- What happens if it rains? We can horseback ride normally even with rain, therefore is up to the client if they want to get wet; this applies for when there is no lightning or raining very strong.

7- What does the tour include? Tame horses, special equipment, and bilingual guides if you need one and a ride by the Aerial Tram if you wish.

8- Do you take pictures? Yes, there is a company that has professional cameras and photographers and you can buy it once you finish the Tour. No video available yet.
